Default What to do in Cabarete

HI-
Me and my boyfriend, both 23, are travelling next week to the DR and I'd like to know if anyone can suggest some nice tours or places to visit? Wish of the Jeep Tours companies is the one to book with? restaruants/ bars you can recommend with a good friendly crowd? Any input would be great. Thanks
=)

We went on an Outback Safari tour and enjoyed it quite a bit.

Just your place!!! Lots of young people of your age. Just go to Lax Bar any afternoon and evening and talk to those who look as if they live here, they'll put you on the right track to having a really great time. Don't be shy!!

The Italian restaurant Il Pomoporo on the main beach is amazing - best authentic italian food I've had in a long time. (try the artichoke and gorgonzola pizza). Just got to Banco BHD on the main street, turn and walk toward the beach, and it's the last restaurant on your left.

Cabarete is busy/fun almost all the time....parties, drinking, etc.

Unfortunately, I was only there for about 3 days, and went on one tour - the one to Paradise Island. It took way too long (tons of driving) but the beach and the snorkling were AMAZING.

Have fun!
