Default Go Everywhere!!!!
If you have 3-4 months to get away, go everywhere!! At the very least spend 2-3 weeks on the South Coast (Santo Domingo & Boca Chica), 2-3 weeks on the North Coast (Sosua & Cabarete), 2-3 weeks in Santiago, 2-3 weeks in Samana & Las Terrenas, and 4-6 weeks in Cuba!!!

You call this a dillema !? You have 3-4 months to travel and have fun ! I can only dream it.........

As others said just travel around the island, it would be a shame to spend the whole period in one or two places.
