I am originally from Buffalo where the outdoor act of "barbecuing ribs or anything" has become an art form. (well to us it is) . Now I must say that my ribs are "pretty good". but after hearing all the rave reviews for the ribs at Rocky's, I have definitely got to try them on my vacation in June.
Can't wait.

Of course there are less expensive overrated items, like Buffalo wings for 85 rd, or an omelette with toast, jam and eternal pot of coffee for the same price.
If budget is tight, you can get an overrated hotdog for 40 pesos.

I've eaten all of the "overrated" stuff listed above, there must be something wrong with me because I keep going back

I didn't think my post was controversial!
Quite a lot of controversy over some posted gratitude it seems. Interesting. When I don't pay attention to the cost of a meal, it is VERY REASONABLE!. By the way, I bet you can't come up with a breakfast combination that is not listed on Rocky's breakfast menu. As I said, seven days morning, noon, and night, no need to eat elsewhere.

We have tried the ribs at Eddy's [Dori], La Roca and Rockys'
No competition - Rocky's wins easily. Also, his breakfast menu is very varied and economically priced. We use it often. Go try for yourself.

First time soon after Dori opened, then again some 6-8 weeks later. On the second occasion the size of the ribs were much smaller.

Was just curious. He hasn't served ribs for a few months and you posted yesterday?? No big deal. BTW, as of the 15th., Dori will no longer be cooking at Eddy's. He is moving to another location. Anybody got ideas about the kitchen at Eddy's, PM me.
