Occidental Allegro Playa Dorado

Hi everybody --

Just back from Occidental Allegro Playa Dorado!! HAD A BALL!! The weather was beautiful every single day - hot, hot, hot!! Just the way we like it when we travel!! If you are booked at this resort, have no fear, it was wonderful!! They have a lobster dinner set up at the pool on Thursday evening, overlooking the beautiful Caribbean Sea!! It was outta sight!! The entertainment was pretty darned good too. They have their own dancers and a house band that was wonderful as well!! The staff at the resort went out of their way to accommodate us and, as always, fell in love with a few of them!! We highly recommend Ocean World if you feel like leaving the resort one day!! It was a great highlight of our trip. We booked through the hotel, paid 55$ US for an all inclusive day which included the sea lion show, dolphin show, snorkeling equipment, and the entire day in the park. It was really cool being right on the sea and like I said, one of the highlights of our trip. The food was some of the best we have ever had at any all inclusive. We ate waaaayyy too much of it, hehehe!! The Presidente was cold and delicious, as always!! There is a little shopping plaza right up the road that had great deals on all kinds of things you would want to bring home with you. A short 10 minute walk up the road, to the right of the resort. Jim golfed one day as well and had a ball and enjoyed the course and everything else about the day. It was a great trip!!
