Phase A of the marina, basically the mega-yacht slips, now have electricity and water. We are open for business however there is construction going on at the guest services building adjacent to these docks. Other more quiet slips are available but they do not have electricity or water yet. Ocean World Marina is offering 50% discount on published rates until construction finishes.
The official grand opening of the marina and casino is scheduled for December 16th and a famous band from the 60's (and beyond) has been signed up to lead the festivities.
There will be about 100 wet slips (some slips for boats up to 225 feet) and 200 dry dock slips (for boats under 35 feet). The depth of the marina is 16 feet at mega-yacht area and 12 feet at the rest. The largest yacht so far has been a 165 foot $30 million yacht.
The marina and its guest services building (which will have marina check in/tour desk/showers/bathrooms/laundry/car rental/bait and tackle shop/yacht brokerage/food/liquor provisioning etc) should be all finished around September.
Boats can get fuel via tanker truck, pumped fuel from our fuel dock should be ready in July.
The casino building is finished with construction, the interior/exterior decorator is now doing a 4 month outfit which will make it the most spectacular casino on the island. Its scheduled to open operations November 16th.
