Default Luperon Beach Resort
Has anyone been to the Luperon Beach Resort? I have read mixed reviews and am concerned. My husband has booked a trip there in November. Also. Do they alow topless sunbathing?

The resort itself is ok. The region is very nice, it's worth to hang out a bit in the village to taste the easy going dominican life...
The mix with locals, boaters, and expats in that little small town makes it more interesting than other huge tourism industry centers...

topless bathing is allowed.... i've seen topless women sunbathing around the pools.

the hotel is nice for its price.. i like the food and they have mexican, italian,
mediterranean, brazilian a la carte restaurants (1 each day,,, if hotel is full then 2 are open each night).

Yes topless bathing is allowed. I stayed at the hotel this summer and it was excellent. It had all i wanted from a hotel, however luperon is a small town with little to do. Puerto Plata is over an hour away. However the hotel has everything you need. I really enjoyed my stay.
