Depends.

Most people do not know that Puerto Plata, Sosúa and Cabarete are all in POP province. So is RIU property.

So the going price is about --about--
To RIU--$55
To city of POP--$60
To Sosua--$70
To Cabarete--80

I highly reccommend JJ and Rocio at Welcome To Paradise Transportation. Last year JJ and Rocio drove us from Santiago to Samana, then a week later from Sosua to Santiago. They are fair, reliable, and really nice people. Oh, and safe drivers too! :-) You can even make reservations online.

We plan to call again when we go to the DR this year, and this time we're bringing Mom. Recommended to us by Hillbilly himself.

Rocio emailed me this morning to let me know they are going to start transportation from POP airport as well this coming week on a trial basis.
