Default sometimes you need a fast food fix

Pizza Hut in Playa Dorado is great.

Burger King in Puerto Plata is OK, overpriced.

KFC in Santiago is good.

The best though is, TACO BELL, in Santiago.

Sometimes you just have to think outside of the bun. LOL

Never having been to the states, I thought Taco Bell was a telephone company...

Default Let me get this right....

I am looking forward to my first visit to DR next week but I must tell you one thing I WOULDN'T be looking forward to is a visit to an American fastfood restaurant. I can't imagine a person wouldn't want to try out the local cuisine. trying the foods of different locations (along with the beer) is one of my favorite things to do. Also I still haven't figured out the "fussy" eater thing.

Certainly, one may become "telephonic" after eating there...

What...? noone chiming in for Castle Burger in Sosua??

Best fast food in Cabarete: Pizza Via... You can get an awesome brick-oven pizza to go in under 5 minutes... standard margarita pie is still only 80 pesos...

Cabarete, wow the food is awesome... Shrimps a la Pape from Don Alphredo's (spelled wrong probably) was the best I have ever had anywhere! Casanova's was awesome, the thai place awesome, you name it, wherever we went, including the pizza's were incredible! Sosua also has wonderful food but the best burger joint burnt down I just read on here. OH we stopped in once around 9 or so hoping to cure our crave for junk food at Burger King in Puerto Plata and it was closed! Yep at nine. But we ended up going for pizza at a place called Portofino, it was sooooooooo much better then our junk food alternative. oh gosh, now I am hungry....
