I met with Yolanda 2 weeks ago. Her mastery of English is a little lacking so translations are iffy. Her school is on a dirt street (alley) between Dr. Rosen and the Verizon (Codetel) Office. Her rates a far more reasonable than Holiday Spanish School whom just raised their rates 50%.
They both use the "Español 2000" book. It is available from Amazon.com. (although they both use a photocopied edition)
To recap;
Holiday School
is at Hotel Colibri in beautiful surroundings away from the beach and distractions
costs between US$14 and US$20 per hour (2 hours per day)
speak perfect English
Yolanda's Spanish School
is on a dirt road with little or new breeze or view
costs US$10 per hour (2 hours per day)
is very close to Casa Marina/Rocky's/ Beach
Yolanda worked for Holiday School until December 2006
other teacher used to work there too (ex-husband still does)
Either place will teach you well as the method is the same. You have to decide on cost and location.
