Default Current North Coast gas prices?

Hey everyone,

I will be in the DR for my annual trip beginning on the 19th . What should I expect to pay when filling up the Honda CRV I am renting?

A CRV holds 15.3 gal X RD$158.20 avg price/g = $72 USD.

Diesel RD$ 137.10.

I assume it's regular gas. I really appreciate that detail!

I seem to understand, that local Premium gasoline has a lower octane rate than US Regular and certainly lower than European "Normal".
Just among one of the reasons some have issues with imported hi tech cars designed for the US or even worse, the EU market.

Default Gas prices- Hoda CRV

I just got back from Santiago 3 days ago. We were all over the place including several trips between Santiago and PP. I also rented a Hoda CRV. My plan was to go 1000 pesos at a time. In 3 weeks, I spent 12000 pesos on gas. But I DROVE A LOT. 1000 pesos was about half a tank for a CRV.
