Massages

I'd like to get some good massages while I visit the Dominican. I've heard defferent oppinions of those offered on the beach and would like to know if they are actual trained in massage or not. Or is there other alternatives? What is an average price so I won't get ripped off. Thanks

Hmmm! No personal experience. (I get all that at home.) But I have seen some happy campers leaving the massage tents in various resorts.

But could you do us a favour and practise: "The Domincan Republic" OR "The D-R" OR "La Republica Dominicana".

It is a fairly big country so without knowing your destination it is difficult to give specifics however most resorts offer professional massages at a relatively high cost.

If you happen to be in Sosua I would highly recommend M and M Massage, I have never heard of anyone disappointed with their massage there. Cost is 600 rd ($20) per hour. Located in the Colonial Plaza, next to the Banco Popular.

Just re-read your OP, if you are looking for the other type of massage, they are available in many places outside the resorts, but do not expect anything proffesional.
