One way-which way????

Wow the new traffic pattern in Sosua is a rat maze. I still have not figured out how to get from one end to the other with out driving all over town. It appears that Pedro Calsante now is one way from each direction ending at Harrisons, i think. The best parrt is no one is paying attention to the new pattern and driving in the direction they have always driven which will just lead to more confusioin, accidents and horn blarring.
The new definition of one way truely is "drive only in one direction at a time"

However if AMET handed out tickets for wrong way drivers especailly motos then there would be enough money in the coffers to pave all the streets, Mulata road, el choco road and still have "bonus" money for the authorities.

It was introduced as I was leaving and the few days it was there no one took any notice of it !? It's like they are waiting for a grand openning or something.... so Sosua like !

We have actaully seen MET traveling the wrong way on those new one way streets, several times.

I walk around town every day and have still not figured it out. When I think I know how it works another set of arrows appear in the road pointing another direction. Maybe thats the problem I am trying to apply logic to it.

Actually this morning i noticed that the arrows on the roadway are quite different than the traffic pattern, but they were still painting lines and arrows by PJs and the Western union this morning. It seems the only place the road arrows and the signs agree are in front of city hall and on the side of the school.
