What's the distance from Sosua to Santiago and the best way to get there?

About 2 hours by bus or 1:30 by car over the mountains.

Easiest is to take a Caribe Tours bus at 20 past the hour from the station on the highway in Charamicos.

Another option to get to Santiago is Metro Tours...in my personal opinion they are better buses, better drivers...you pay maybe 100 pesos more but as they say... you get what you pay for. Any taxi driver will know where the Metro Bus station is in Puerto Plata.

The OP is traveling from Sosua, and there is a Metro stop at the Texaco station, at the corner of the highway and Dr. Rosen.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, I had forgotten about the new service to Sosúa!!!

What are the times, good friend??? Caribe Tours is easy: 20 past the hour...

People keep posting the hours and I keep forgetting to keep them.
I think there are 8 daily buses, but don't know when.
Their website shows the Puerto Plata departure times, so I presume they leave Sosua 30 or 40 minutes before.
