apartment/villa rentals
Im interested in going mid march for a week with my wife and infant, and we are considering doing an apartment rental instead of the AI thing. We love sosua bay but I know the town is not particularly family friendly. We were quoted for $500-600 dollars a week for a 1bedroom apt. in a complex. I prefer going to punta cana for the same thing but my wife finds it boring. My question is which apartment / villas are closest to sosua bay and is appropriate for a small family? Important things for us are low to mid priced dining, not to much rif raf , and some shopping. We could rent a car if we go with the apartment, and get a few day passes for the AI experience, or should we stick with the AI and stay put at the resort. We are on a budget, and dont know much about sosua besides the playa publica. Any imput or recomendation on where to stay would be appreciated.
