There is a Dolphin Encounter AND a Dolphin Swim. I did the swim, which was unbelievably fantastic. The handlers there are extremely professional, knowledgable and friendly. They are S H A R P, and I noticed that they are constantly looking out for the kids. You will feel very safe. They are so good with the kids and really seem to enjoy them. The people make the experience so much better than SeaWorld! I also did the Stingray and Shark encounters, and several people in my group had children doing both. Seeing an 8 year old hold a shark IN HIS LAP is unbeatable, and OH! the bragging rights when they get back to school and show friends!

Try and see if Esther is still there. She was wonderful at helping to coordinate everything for me. Very patient and sweet lady, gracefully accomodating several changes. She even came out front and personally greeted me when I arrived! With such a large group she may be able to help. Perhaps you could even negotiate a two day rate; one to do the encounters, and another to just play around and enjoy the facilities. The views and atmosphere are phenomenal.

I BELIEVE that admission may be covered for one day if you book the encounters. Several of the hotels have promotions for free admissions, so you could get the second day on your hotel booking. Definitely worth two days....

I am SO excited for you and the children! Oh to experience that through the eyes of a child.....

Ocean World is amazing and well worth the money. Definitly swim with the dolphins if you can afford it. Also make sure to take advantage of the snorkling. They have a large pool with a bunch of fish you can snorkel in that is included with the regular admission. One thing to watch out for is the VIP World guys pushing their timeshare. Man, do not go with them unless you are interesed in a timeshare. They will try to get you to take a tour and then they have you. If you miss your transport back you will be at their mercy.
