San Pedro to Sosua

Does anyone know of a direct bus that leaves SP and goes to Sosua. I know I can take a bus to Santo Domingo and then a Caribe Tours to Sosua, but am wondering if there is anything easier?

If I understand/recall correctly, the Eastern part of the DR is controlled by a different sindicado than the rest of the country, so any time you are coming by bus from parts East and need to continue past Santo Domingo, you will need to change buses. Works the same way in the other direction.

There is no such animal. You need to go to Santo Domingo and then catch a Caribe Tour or a Metro to Sosua.
