There is alot of noise in the rooms you may be sure of it without any reviews - it is the noisiest corner of Sosua. Same noisy as corner of hotel Europa in Boca Chica.
But its openning is a good thing as it increases competition among hotel owners that means lower prices and hopefully some repairs in the rooms.

For this location $25 is good price. $40 - is too much.

I have only heard good things about this hotel lately. None of the posters on another board, has mentioned noise as a problem.

I stayed at SeaBreeze in October and will be staying there again in February. I liked it, but don't really have anything to compare it to as it was my first time visiting the DR. Rooms are basic, but very clean. All of the rooms have air conditioners, safes, and the rooms are cleaned daily. (bedding was replaced and two new towels every morning) As for the noise, I don't recall there being any noise, except for maybe the motos passing by during the day, but I wasn't really there during the day. It was really quiet at night, and that's all that mattered to me. The only thing I didn't like is that as soon as I came out to eat breakfast in the morning, I had to pass by the people trying to sell me stuff from their stores. No big deal, as they weren't aggressive like the people at the beach. It is also guest friendly if that's something you need. There is 24hr security and guests aren't allowed to leave by themselves, you have to walk them to the front gate. The owner Jihad(sp?) is a nice a guy and speaks english very well. (this is my first post as I've been more of a lurker here, but this was a thread I could actually contribute to)

I stayed for 7 nights (i paid $40 per night). No kitchenette. Just your basic room with closet, small chest next to bed, 2 plastic chairs, small refrigerator, cable tv(flat screen), and ac.

Its really nice to see that this property is no longer sitting idle as it has been since I started visiting the DR in 2000. Great location!
