Wtf? :)
I can't resist giving you "the gears"!
Having a good rant can be "cleansing" and obviously you were pretty "backed up"!
I hope you feel better now even if whoever you were aiming your rant at won't be likely to understand what you're saying.

I'm guessing that perhaps English is not your mother tongue. I'm sure that much of my written Spanish sounds like ancient Greek to most Dominicans. So If you're using a translation program to write here in English that would explain a lot...although not who you're rant was really for.

If you are moving to the Dominican Republic, you may want to bring your own gear.
If you are coming for a vacation, you will find several good diving tours that you can rent from.

I'm guessing that this fellow is a child and is moving here with his family. (based on his previous posts)
So he might as well bring his gear with him, assuming the weight restrictions don't prevent him to do so.

I can only guess;
that good equipment is hard to find and expensive. The tanks are heavy and expensive to ship and as Rocky points out, may have some restrictions. Buying the tanks only in the D.R. could be a reasonable option.
Good luck, Ringo

If you have your own equipment, bring it with you. Its better to dive with your private gear that fits 100%.
Rent the air tanks down here!

I do not use a speling check( do not think it's neceessary to chat a little! pay more attention to what i wanted to say more than how i wrote it!
Also sorry for the confusion of my previous statement. i was responding to something else and posted it in the wrong thred?
