Best Value?

I plan on staying in Cabarete for a week in mid-august... I am looking an apartment/studio or hotel room. The size doesn't really matter, but I need a bathroom and kitchenette, just the basics! What would be my best value? I want something not too expensive (70$ a day is too pricey for me..) I know that if you really look around, tehre's some people that have cheap apartments for shortterm rents. But unfortunately I am not there to check that right now. Could help me, that'd be really nice!

Highly recomend Royal Residence and Hotel Kaoba. We've stayed at both and both are really nice. At Kaoba you may be able to get a place for less then $60US but the rooms they have for $60 are realy nice. Royal Residence will be a 1BR condo. I'm prety sure it's about $500-$600 a week.

RR is $60 a night during August....almost brand new units!
(It can't hurt to ask Tanja for a "weekly" rate.)
