I have taken this road about a year or so ago and it was good for about 20 mins from Gaspar Hernanadez but got progresively worse the closer to Tenares, you definately should be in a jeep for this road,lots of big holes.
Just travelled this road this past Thursday... you may want to invest in a back brace and neck support if you would like to feel OK at the end of your journey
