The problem with getting to Sosua from Cofresi is that you have to drive through Puerto Plata. This adds at least 20 to 30 minutes to the drive. Once you get out of Puerto Plata then it is a nice 26 or so KM drive to Sosua. It should take you about 40 to 45 minutes to make the drive if traffic is not too bad in the city.
