I'm not near Samana so all I know is what I see on the web site as far as completion status.

"RED ZONE - Arzobispo Noel Street. It closes on Mondays and Tuesdays - It is a dangerous place and it is a good advice not to go alone.

OK. I will show my ignorance because I don't know where this is in the capital. Why dangerous? You might get a drive-by makeover? A patron might cruelly diss your color preferences by suggesting that the shade of pink in your shirt clashes with your red hot pants? What? Or is it like a sailor bar with real friendly big guys weighing 300 pounds with lots of body hair like Escott that want you to join them on their tanker. Next stop, Shanghai!

That should be a real interesting sidetrip for the patrons of Cayo Limon!

OK-It's clear now why those young boys need protection.....
If you check the rest of the resort site, look at accommodations, and slide your cursor over the dining room.......

enjoy also shrimp from the river or the delicious kid!!!!!! LOL!!!!!!

I'll pass on the delicious kid but actually maybe I'll have to make a trip, If Alba will let me, to sample the sucking pig.



According to their web site, smart clothes are not required poolside. So I guess I can pack my dumb clothes. I have lots of those! But then again, their rooms are like a kind of suit. Don't forget. Yep! The pool has cocktails. Sorry! Couldn't resist pointing that out. Anyone getb the idea that AjiCaribe translated this? I haven't gusted my brains out like this in months. Too funny!

Somebody really needs to send them a polite little e-mail. This is too funny, but I don't think they know that their site reads like a Saturday Night Live skit.

I don't quite know exactly what was going on in the bar, BAR KISKEYA, to cause such a commotion, but their website now promises that from now on "everything will be more pleasant thanks to the background music."



So what noises exactly need to be covered up by the background music? As I type I am listening to music by the pool, and my system just called up "You and me baby ain't nothin' but mammals .." OK. God's having a little fun with me again today I see. This time at least I am having a real hoot!

Pam, I was with about 4 or 5 strapping young gay and bisexual black men friends of mine. We were bar hopping all the black clubs, and wound up there. They needed the white guy along because I was the only one who knew all the words to the rap songs. :: smile :: By the way, are you sure it was a guy you were dancing with? LOL!

Tom my brotha.....It was a guy I danced with but sometimes he looked like a woman LOL...He is now in Hollywood Hills Ca consumed with HIV..May not even be alive now. I have not spoken to him in 24 months or so... He wanted me to "wait" for him to decide if he was gay or not..Just would have been a miracle ya know..I did not wait and he did not go "straight"..but if he was straight I would not be with Raul these days..He was a great guy..Then again most of them are.....so women tend to say LOL Pam

There is a new gay hotel in Santo Domingo, just opened, and it is doing fine. Point your thing at: www.monaga.com

The hotel is the Casa de Monaga and it is excellent. Kind of like a new nice modern Duque de Wellington, but all gay men 100% not mixed like the aging Duque. And yes, the boys (18+) hang out there so drop by and pleasure papi sometime.
