Hi all
Well i've been here 2 months and rain aside it's been very nice. My only major complaint is the level of noise. I won't define it but i've moved 3 times. I have a book project to finish and need a quiet yet attractive place to stay for 3 to 4 months. It looks like the samana area will be my last attempt to find peace and quiet. Does anyone know of a QUIET place to stay in the area? A palapas would look good by now. No AI,s please. Perhaps an understanding guest house or preferably a small but seperate apartment. Well i'm sure you get the drift. Any and all help will be appreciated.

If you mean 'Las Galeras' there are several quiet places you could stay at, either guest houses or self contained places to rent. Although generally a quiet place, some areas in Las Galeras are noisier, so it would probably be best to go and see for yourself. Depends on your budget too.
