Boats -- mostly open fishing boats -- leave from the beach at the end of the main road near the fish restaurant and bar shack. It's all very laid back. There were no signs -- last year at least. Be there in the morning 9 ish, or just after lunch -- you'll probably be approached; if not then ask.
I recall now that someone mentioned that sometimes boats leave from the AI -- along the beach to the right (East). But I don't have first-hand information on that. Ask around.
