Hotel Bahia View in town of Samana?

My books (Lonely Planet and Rough Guide) describe the "best deal in town", with clean rooms, hot showers and freindly service at a budget price. It's a small (10 - room) retro-looking hotel. It looks perfectly fine online:

Does anyone have any personal experience or advice? We only need one night in Samana before whale-watching and heading on to Las Galeras.

We (two couples) stayed there last year. A room with cable and electricity in May was I beleive $25.00 US. Nice restaurant on the first floor. Clean rooms and a nice veiw out in front of the hotel. I would stay there again.
