Verizon Up In Las Galeras?

Is the cell tower (Verizon) up and running in Galeras.I know Orange has been for a while.I heard Verizon was next.By the way,how does Orange work?

I don't know if they're planning a verizon tower out there or not but as of 2wks ago verizon gets no coverage there. That's when I was there and my carrier is verizon. My husband had coverage through orange but back home he's with fido.

Almost all of the little bodegas had orange machines to add minutes to cell phones that have orange directly.
