Thumbs down Digging for Money

No, it's for the money...
From what I have seen I have doubts that the Las Terrenas sewage system will ever work as intented.
There are various spots where the road has sunk in which suggests that there the pipes broke (they were not sanded in) and several 'registros' where filled up with 'caliche' ....

The sewage system was a good idea in theory, but it seems to be a disaster in reality...

-Once work is completed, how are all the households suppose to connect ?

-Should every home owner destroy a bit of brand new asphalt to connect his own pipes to the big one in the middle of the street ?

We all have a septic tank... I think this sewage system is a bad idea after all...

Default Water & Sewer Lines in the DR

Hey folks. Wake up and smell the coffee. The digging is for money, and easy way to scam the public for large funds. Pres. LF appointed a new Minister/Sec. de Obras Publicas, and he needs to get his cut as well, since Freddy Perez is now out! Many in the PLD are beginning to realize that they may only have 8 months left to steal. Time is short.

With the last heavy rain all the roads turned into rivers, some rivers overflowed. No problem for a quad bike or jeepeta and it was all gone by morning.
