boca chica/juan dolio to samana

does anyone have information on taking a bus to sabana del mar and then a ferry to samana from boca chica or juan dolio? thanks.

have been wondering the same thing myself!! sorry i can't help yet, some say it's real easy, maybe and hour on the guagua's and then i've also heard atleast 2 - 2.5.....

I'm hoping to make the journey with my son to see some whales one of these weekends soon.

I dont know the time needed for the bus ride, but the ferry takes about 30 min. to cross to Samana. Id guess acouple hours in the bus...

well, thanks for the responses. i did search through previous threads and got times for the ferry, but still no real info on how to get to the ferry. so, if anyone can enlighten me about that leg of the trip i would greatly appreciate it. trying to avoid cab rides as much as possible. i really like taking the busses. thanks.
