Congrat's Susan. Very Happy for you. I would like to ask you though if you would mind keeping us all posted over the next while as to how everything goes for you? As many wisely on here recommend rent for 6/12 months etc. before moving/buying I would just be curious to see over time how you feel ,what you think etc ? thanks in advance and best of luck to you.

That will help enormously - here in DR we expats don't have 'problems' we have 'opportunities to extend ourselves'.

I certainly think that your workplace motivational skills will come in handy with the contractors working on your new home. Come to think of it, so might the bungee jumping skills.
