We loved Las Terrenas so much we bought a house!

Looks like a great place and I've spent lots of time on Playa Las Ballenas; great beach. I bought and built on somewhat of an impulse and did as much homework as possible in a short amount of time.......but my philosophy is that you need to strike while the iron is hot and more importantly, my wife was all for it. I have no regrets and look forward to bringing my boys, who are now old enough to make the trip, down in April. Good luck.

That was exactly what we thought--and I had to convince my HUSBAND, although I didn't need to twist his arm too much!
