Default where can we buy champagne

Hello, new to the forums, searched with no luck...we are renting a private villa, on the North Coast, Cabrera area, approx 1 1/2 hr east from POP, where can we purchase Korbel Champagne and good California wine along the way? Also in that area, can someone recommend a deep sea fishing company? Thank you

Although maybe not on your way, try the supermarkets in Nagua or do your buying in Puerto Plata (where you may be setting out).
Deep sea fishing is offered in Las Terrenas, other such places might be nearer to you.

Take a trip to Santiago and shop at either PriceSmart or Supermercado Nacional. It would be an interesting day, you would save a decent amount of money, and you would get good product.
You can also try Supermercado Jimenez Messon in Puerto Plata or Tropical in Sosúa, but it has been some time since I perused their aisles... Perhaps the locals can guide you..

Korbel? I agree that their ads are funny buy why not Spanish Cava?

have fun...
