Ola!

Does ANYONE know if there is a GuaGua (NOT Caribe Tours!!!) that goes from Santo Domingo TO Samana, and BACK from Samana TO Santo Domingo AFTER 4pm?

IS there a GuaGua at 5pm, 6pm or 7pm? How long does it take? WHERE do I catch it.

Thanks for any info.

Yes there is a guagua from Samana to SD and vice versa. I don't know its timings although I know there are three a day. In Samana it leaves and arrives at a depot on the right hand side which is about 100 yards down the road from the market main entrance towards the sea. I live in LT so can't pop over and check. Ask someone who lives there.

As it was explained to me, no gua guas after 3, because...

driving those roads at night is extra-dangerous, with the moon-crater sized potholes and so on.

You can take an expensive cab, one that is called, but that is tricky, expensive, and a matter of luck.

I did once, and as my driver got the bus driver for a famous local band that drives all over...etc. I was real lucky.

The last gua gua from the capital or from Samana is at 4:00 and the last Caribe tours is at 4:30. The gua gua which they call the voladora leaves from near Plaza Lama on Ave. Duarte.

Default To the MOD.

I didn't do anything to promote my business. I am helping people with their questions. You should be happy to have someone like me here in Samana to help people!!

By including a commercial e-mail address you are spamming the board, otherwise I have no issue with you answering questions.
