Las Terrenas Hotel Recommendation near Town

Looking for a lively, somewhat noisy AI hotel near the town of Terrenas. We are looking for a place within walking distance to all the bars/restaurants and action.

Here in Germany 3 a.i.-hotels are offered.

1. Hotel Aligio Beach: It´s a small place with 80 rooms, 2 pools and some sports. Within 5 minutes you reach the "La Bodega"

2. Cacao Beach: 240 rooms, casino, disco, animation, sports. Around 10 minutes to walk to the centre of LT.

Here you find a map of Las Terrenas.

3. GBP El Portillo: This is the best a.i.-resort in LT and the one I prefer myself, but it´s 6 kilometers away from LT.

There´s a thread here in this forum called I need recommendations on restaurants and bars in Las Terrenas which might help you.

We often went to the La Bodega, the best nights were Wednesday and Friday (???), but better ask local people for that.

And be a little careful at nighttime - LT is on its way to become a second Sosua.

Cacao Beach has been closed for a year.

Aligio is the closest, all inclusive, to the God-awful noise and pollution in town.
