Default Las Terrenas -> Santo Domingo

I don't know how many buses leave Las Terrenas to Santo Domingo, but in January 2009, I believe the bus I took left at 9am and started loading passengers at 8:30am. Of course, they leave when the bus is full.

The guaguas LT to SD leave at 5:00, 7:00, 9:00, 14:00 and 15:00 hrs.
" SD to LT " " 8:30, 9:30, 11:00, 13:40 and 15:00 hrs.
LT: Cemetery Junction, SD: Barahona garage at the back of Plaza Lama.
Three weeks I was charged RD$280 each way.
Strongly advised: take a bottle of water and go to the WC before you go.

Doubt it donP. They cram the bus so full, a pretty girl on the drivers knee, people standing, boxes and parcels all over the place I doubt that even in an emergency I could have found my water works.

Most comfortable way is to take a gua gua to Samana and get on the Caribe Tours bus at 8 am or 4 pm. Those are the ones that go down the new highway and get there in just 2 hours. You might arrive at the same time as the gua gua from LT but you won't have to deal with the pleasantries that the last poster described and did not exagerate.
