Transfer Puerto Plata Airport to Las Terrenas

I will arrive at puerto plata airport around 4:30 pm.
Is there any chance to get to Las Terrenas by bus or guagua the same day?
If not, what town should I stay for the night, Sosua? If possible it would be nice if you could also give a hotel recommendation (low buget) for this town.

If I remember right the bus from Puerto Plata to Las Terrenas leaves PP at 2pm. Guaguas need much more time, so you might have the problem to find a guagua from Sanchez to Las Terrenas. Better spend the first night in Sosua.
