When I was there about three weeks ago, it needed a miracle to be finished in time. But like I said in a previous post, this is a very impressive venue and well worth a visit by all during the Pan Am Games. It is about a 20 minute drive north of Santo Domingo. Equestrian sports are free, so bring all the family. Look for the sign on the road, about 1-2 kilometers after the Cerinca ceramics factory.
Now I read that the same architect who worked on the Sydney center participated in its design, and a leading Kentucky expert also had to do with the course. The Dominican Republic has a good chance at a medal with Ivonne Losos Muņiz, so head out that way.
