Default squash NOT on tv

If the images of the Games are being broadcasted by a Canadian Television, how come there aren't squash games on TV!!! They have the World number 4 and don't even care about it... Maybe that's why he is not playing in Santo Domingo...

Come on Canada, show more respect for your people and athlets...

You obviously dont know how television coverage of a sporting event works

CBC is the Host Broadcaster of the Games. They provide the sound and pictures of the Games to the different broadcasters who in turn make the shows for their particular country.

The selection of the sports that are being televised are based on the interest of the rightsholding broadcasters. Their are 11 sports being covered live - which one would you like to drop to have the squash covered?

I am sure it would have gone over real well if baseball had not been televised...

Synchro swimming is covered becasue it is part of the whole "aquatics" package from the swimming pool - swimming, diving, water polo and synchro.

Nope. But if it was, the DR would have had some great venues!
