The Best Dominican City is....

Dominicans in Santiago, Jarabacoa, Puerto Plata, and Barahona are not cut throat like the Dominicans in Santo Domingo. I have visited Santo Domingo twice and do not have a desire to return. The interior cities like Santiago, Constanza, and Jarabacoa reflect the true good nature of the Dominican peolple which is always lending a helping hand to anyone. A good percentage of Dominicans in Santo Domingo will surely lie to you with no remorse or literally cut your throat with no remorse. There is fun to be found in Cabarete with a small fee for services rendered most of the time if you know what I mean.

Hey there thanks for the pics...You got my bro's car dealership (Johnny Motors) on the first picture. I created the group, but unfortunately haven't had much time to invite others and promote it to other people who may have an interest in Cotui and Sanchez Ramirez in general. Don't know if it was joke, but in either case, New York is not Dominican by any stretch of the imagination. Certain neighborhoods certainly have that Dominican feel due to the high concentration of Dominican migrants there, but those neighborhoods combined perhaps make 2% of the total city. I'm almost certain its much less than that, hardly enough to considered NYC to be a "Dominican" city.

If NYC is a Dominican city, then its also a Haitian city, a Greek city, an Indian city, a Pakistani city, a Mexican city, so on and so forth.

Since when has Sousa been a city - surely a city is a large population and economic centre (though in the UK there are other ways of defining city). Santiago, Santo Domingo and possibly SFM, are really the only contenders the rest are large towns.

Perhaps we should have a favorite large town thread - mine would be Monti Cristi.
