Not Dominican, but if you ever get a chance to sip 'Birra Moretti', (an Italian-made beer), you'll find it to be the best brew you'd ever tasted.- ten times better than the best DR has to offer, which to me is Presidente.

La Benedicta reminds me Martinelli's Apple juice.
It's refreshing, but I can not imagine throwing back six for a buzz!

Moretti has a very Latin beer type of taste... similar to Ecuador's "Pilsener" or Colombia's "Club". I used to drink it in Spain when ever available.

It's no more a Dominican beer as a Ford vehicle assembled in northern Mexico is not a Mexican car.

Ford = American
Presidente = Dominican
Miller anything = American

Default Quisqueya

I have just converted to Quiqueya... good real beer taste and apparently no sugar nor harmful chemicals... just an un-cool label, bottel color and shape, but it's Dominican.
