Presidente all the way....

Hey have any of you ever heard the nick name "cotorrita" for a Presidente? "cotorrita" as in the little green parrots in the DR. I went to order one and the guy yelled TRAIME UNA COTORRITA. I had never heard of that.

Brahma, although it may now be brewed locally, isn't really a Dominican Beer. Were it, however, it would be last on my list.

There is a new local beer, at least I think it is local, called Quilme, not sure of the spelling. But it doesn't "Kill me" either and would be close to Brahma at the bottom of the list. Presidente for me.

Brahma and Quilmes brands are Brazilian and Argentinian respectively, but brewed locally by Brazilian giant Ambev, locally as Ambev Dominicana.

This investment will take advantage of DR Cafta and you will most likely see these locally brewed brands in the US.
