not quite a 1........................poorly designed from a pedestrian view........i passed by the building for a couple of years and didn't realize there was a mall in it..............some things in SD suffer from the spagetti western syndrome.............

is citigroup still going to be there after the lay-offs? 17,000 company wide in the next week or so...could go as high as 45,000.

in the past day or so they have been going after all the consumer branches vs. corporate and investment banking.

I walked past this building/mall last month in S.D. and my friend told me that it was more consumer based...so wondering if the cuts are hitting there as well. I hear that many Customer service call centers are going off shore here...so i wonder if they are landing up in DR? (hope so...nothing against people in mumbai india...but jeesh..i cant understand their accents. when i get someone from LatAm...i can understand their english so much better).

anyhoo...i give the building a 2. not very attractive...kinda ominous...but not a total eyesore. The area around it is sorta bland...so it sorta fits in.

The photos don't do it justice. I think it's a pretty nice building, inside and out.
In my opinion it's the most modern and well built (currently occupied) building in the capital.

I rather liked it also......very up to date and truly 'inspirational'.
Or should I say 'visionary'.
