DR1: Fee or Free
This poll was suggested by a member who asked to remain anonymous.
DR1 should:
A) Remain completely free
B) Become completely fee-based
C) Only the message boards should be fee-based
D) Only some message boards should be fee-based
The value of this poll will be greatly enhanced if you explain why you voted for A or B or C or D.

These message boards are fun for me. At times I have gotten useful information but most times the information I have found be entertaining or interesting. That's what I like about it.
In the past couple of months I feel that the "energy" on the boards has changed and it's not as enjoyable?? as it used to be. I don't know if it's me (I've been in a funk) or it's something else but.....
I think charging for it would take away from it and it would also discourage new people from joining.
If a fee was charged I don't think that people wouldn't pay. I'm not sure If I would.

i think it should remain free. this is probably one of the best boards about a country on the internet.
yes, it does get kind of funky at times but this board has a certain "human" feel to it and the moderators seem to do a good job of taking care of the folks with "agendas"....

NALs, NALs, NALs......"THINGS" should NOT be made so complicated!!.
There was talk about ONE (as in UNO) Private Forum!!!.......NOT the whole site.....NOT 2 forums....NOT 1,000 forums......JUST ONE (as in UNO) Private Forum!.
ONE forum where members could be able to talk about everything they wanted without ALLLLLL the censorships (welll, still some).
One of those "Enter if you are brave, don't bitch while there" kind of forum........Or "You have soft skin and like to play with dolls, STAY OUT!!".
AGAIN>>>>>JUST ONE FORUM!.

Sighting "Anonymus Sources" Is Really Stupid!
If the poll has ANY Merit at all,why not stand up for what you want to say!
You probably came up with this "So Called" Poll question while drunk anyway! Just like all your other "Brilliant" Polls!
DR1 doesn't need a "POLL" to decide what to do!
Let the "DR!ers" post what they would like,and the owner can respond!

I told him to keep my name out of it because someone came up with the idea first, on another thread.
When the idea came up on that thread, even Robert seemed interested...with reservations, of course.
BUUUUT, I must add:
My idea was MUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCH simpler....Something like:
Should DR1 have ONE paid "Private Forum": (Again, going based on the proposed idea on the other thread....About what people would be able to do on said forum)
1- "Yes". Why.
2- "No". Why.

I think having to pay for the board would simply discourage new members. Then again... boards with a fee tend to be cleaner and more active.
I would say option D, but... what do we need a private forum for?
Why did this poll come up anyways? What do you think this forum needs NALs?

DR1 will remain FREE, the forums we currently have will remain FREE.
We have no plans to charge for the current forums, now or in the future.
