Globalia has nothing to do with Elliott's and neither will have any responsibilities with anyone (investors, shareholders, employees etc. of Elliott's Group) . All the property was purchased by Globalia : Resort and Bungalows as well . The Bungalows will be operated by Lifestyle Hacienda Resort and The Resort will become part of the Oasis Resorts . The resort will be renovated . The new owner has enough funds . I guess that's the end of the story in Cofresí . Now someone has to buy the property in Juan Dolio . Both properties deserve a new owner like Globalia :
Oasis Hotels & Resorts , Air Europa , Travelplan , Iberrail ,Touring Club, Halcon Viajes , Globalia Autocares , Call Center , PepeCar , PepePhone , PepeTravel etc.

It has been verified that the Elliotts are involved in the Spanish company Globalia. Elliotts attorney in Canada, Will Lambert, went to Spain this summer and made this deal happen.

Also, the Bungalows were not part of the foreclosure.
Hacienda, next door, also owned by the Elliotts it is believed, may buy the Bungalows.

This information has been filed in Miami courts.

I will follow this with interest.

Nothing really surprises me in this matter--plenty disgusts me.

I want to say this next thing carefully to be sure that I am not accused of advocating it--but since "revenge crimes" are fairly common in the DR, I don't really understand why the Elliotts would even want to return to the scene of the crime.

I'm a little confused. It is widely known that the group who bought Sun Village is the Oasis group that operates the Coral Marien Hotel in Costa Dorada and others in the DR. Not sure if the name of this group is Globalia but the Elliotts never had any ownership in the Oasis group. So where is the rumor coming from that the Elliotts have ownership in the group that took over SV?

Globalia (Globalia) is a very well known and large tourist based group.

It makes no sense for them to be involved with small timers like the Elliotts, IMHO. One resort, more or less is insignificant to them.

This is all documented in the Miami courts.

Just because someone sends a letter to the courts does not make a statement true. AND just because you post it on the board does not make it true. Please post the signed agreement between the companies.

Please, whoever is feeding you this non-sense has absolutely no idea what they are talking about.

I have had continuous business dealings with both Sun Village and Hacienda since 2002, and I live in Cofresi where both businesses are located. I have made contracts with the owners of both companies. I can tell you 1,000 percent, that SV or the Elliotts have no ownership in Hacienda.

Somebody is getting confused because back around 2000, Sun Village bought the old part of the Hacienda hotel.

This old part of the hotel was called Hotel Elizabeth or something like that, and has been part of Sun Village ever since.

Good memory Stephan...

Here's how I recall it.

The old Hacienda Elisabeth became Ocean Palms which was incorporated into the new Sun Village Resort (originally EMI Sun Village).

Or something like that - LOL.
