Hi can anyone give me information about the Jardin De Deportivo area of Caberete. Would it be a good area to live in?

In a word: NO

No offense to anyone living there, but it is not a very nice area. Apparently it was very nice several years ago but has since become very run-down. I know several Dominicans who moved from the area because they felt it was too dangerous...there are about a dozen shut down hotels in the area and I don't see anything changing in the right direction...yet.

It's just west of Cabarete on the ocean side of the road. It does look quite run down and it's a bit low lying so some areas are prone to flooding!

I think you mean just East of Cabarete don't you? It is past the main entrance to Camino del Sol driving east.
