okay so this is my first time here but i thought i would check it out.......I met my guy December of 2006 in puerto plata, I had the most amazing time with him......I had a friend who met a guy in Cuba and fell in love with him and I thought she was totally out of her mind, and then I met him and it was love at first sight, I try and call him once a week and cant wait till I see him again....thats my story

Just try to keep this whole thing in perspective. He could be a nice person with good intentions but..... you are a foreigner who makes a whole lot more than he does. There can be alterior motives here and if there are you are going feel betrayed and USED. Even if he is just a friend.

Keep both eyes open and just watch and listen to what is said. Everything may not seem to be what it is.

Many people on this board have been taken for a ride literally and figuratively so they know what the deal is.

Just be careful.
