Redmon,
Welcome to DR1. We hope your stay will be enjoyable. When you get back home would you be so kind as to give us a report in the "Trip Report" forum. We would very much be interested on hearing how your vacation went. Tell us where you stayed, what you did, how the service and food was etc. Hope to hear from you. Enjoy.

Rick

Default Fun lounges

The merengue lounge (inside the casino) at the Jaragua is fun if you want to enjoy latin music. The 10 piece band and entertainers are awesome. Beware however, the drinks are expensive...

On a more casual note, I enjoyed hanging out at "Le Base" which is kind of a open air sports loungue type atmosphere. They also had a band playing the night I was there. It is much more laid back than the Jaragua lounge.
