Default Restaurants I went to in Santo Domingo

1. El Chef

"El Chef" is right behind the Delta Hotel. I ate here with my friend and the price came out to around 450 pesos. The food was pretty good.

This is just a sample of what they serve.

As you can see, this restaurant is open from only 11am to 4pm.

This is what I had. The food was pretty good.

Here is the address of the restaurant.

2. Cafeteria Restaurante Manolo

The address is Av. Independencia, Esquina
Hermanos Deligne #461
Gazcue
Tel: 809-687-7670.

This is located right behind the Jaragua Casino.

The Spaghetti was pretty good.

But the hamburger was not good. LOL

3. D'Luis Parrillada

"D'Luis Parrillada" is a nice outdoor Dominican restaurant. You can eat right next to the ocean.

I ate with my cab driver and the price came out to around 700 pesos for two people. I will post the pictures of what we ate so you can have a better idea of what costs.

I recommend this place.

This is what the restaurant looks like.

I went here again during the day. They have a great variety of dishes to choose from. This place is around a 5-minute walk from the Napolitano Hotel.

4. Fai Chan Oriental

I went to a Chinese restaurant in Santo Domingo for lunch.

The place is quite small. The cook is Chinese.

The place is large enough for only 20 people to sit. So this is not a place for a large event.

I ordered pan fried noodle and it seriously tasted like monkey crap.

My friend had pork fried rice and sweet and sour chicken and both tasted pretty good.

Here is the picture of the menu and food.

^^^

This noodle tasted terrible. LOL

Hey Potato Salad. Luis Parillada has always been a favorite of mine, been eating there for years. They recently remodeled the place. The place next door, Malecon 7, or something like that, in comparison is always dead.

Hola

Yes, these restaurants are just casual places (not fancy places).

Once romantic place I recommend is a place called "Neptuno". It is located in Boca Chica.
Their phone number is 809-523-4703. But it is a bit pricy.
The restaurant is located on top of the ocean.

This is my most favorite dish at Neptuno. It is crab pasta.
Very delicious!!! I recommend it.

There is a restaurant right next to Neptuno. But I forgot the name of it.
You can swim, drink, eat, all at once.

This restaurant was a party atmosphere!!!

Hey! what's wrong with food photo fetish? food photo fetishists are people too! By the way, food photo fetishists are lobbying to change the law, so they can marry other food photo fetishists, irregardless of sex. But our respected Cardinal is not keen to these abominations, and he has already stated that all food photo fetishists should be burned at the stake... now that's some food fetish!
