Default Inexpensive Hotels in Zona Colonial?

Hello,
I will be in SD for an afternoon and evening before heading to the airport. Any recommendations on a nice place to stay in the less than $50 range?

Places with websites and or email access would be preferable.

Thanks,
Tim

Is that hotel less than $50? Wow, looks pretty classy for that price category!

Default Condo-Parque

I second the suggestion of Aparthotel Condo-Parque. I just stayed there June 8-14 and it was very pleasant. The rooms are $35 US. There is a small restaurant/bar on the first floor with excellent goulash as well as mondongo and breakfast. It is secure and Walter the owner speaks several languages fluently including english. It is two blocks from the Conde and a short walk to the Malecon. A cab to the airport, arranged by Walter was 750 RD. I suggest you request a room away from the street to avoid noise. Not all rooms have air conditioning so be sure to inquire. My reservation was handled promptly by email. If you go tell Walter that Brian says hello.
