chiquitta,

I was wondering- what is the itinerary for this cruise? Originally, the idea for the cruise originating in the DR was the European market, so they could bypass the US and all the BS homeland Security visa/ baggage rechecks just for transiting the US.
Sorry you had a miserable time. From your descripitions of the typical selfish, ghetto, inconsiderate, obnoxious nature of some Dominicans, I can totally picture this cruise as being one step above a one trip on the Titanic. As for the Domincans, not drinking, that is pretty rare. I am now having second thoughts of taking this cruise.

Owwwaaaoooo,,, I didn't have the courage to say those words,,, but that was the perfect description.

It sails on Sundays at 6,,, which is nice to see the SD shore from far (without the Isabela garbage)

Day 1 at 2PM St Kitts..... we didn't dock because of the bad winds
Day 2 at Sea
Day 3 Martinique
Day 4 Barbados
Day 5 St. Lucia
Day 6 at Sea
Day 7 (not really.... SD at 7 am)

Think twice if you can choose another cruise,,,,some of the people we talked, said that RCI was giving deals as cheap as 399 for indoor staterooms,,,and you know what that means,,, 399 for the first 2 and half price or less for a 3rd or 4th.

We paid almost 2 grand each and our 3rd (our daugther 5 years old) only 699,,,so I don't expect the Legend to be sailing empty at those prices. Keep in mind we cruised at NY rate and did not included Guadaloupe to give the people on NY day a rest from the party (I wasted day for us),,, right now u can get the March break cruise on line for 419.00....so a lot of "those" children's parents can afford it.

Good luck if you go

CB

Don't worry about the dominicans any more! Was taking the cruise with husband and two kids, but have just had phone call from travel agents to say 57 Dominicans jumped ship in Guadaloupe this week and now you can only go with Schengen or US visa which will get rid of most Dominicans. My husband has US visa but the kids UK visa has expired so if the ship was 90% dominicans it is going to be empty. Just hope we can get the money back
