I haven't been down that way in a while but i beleive there are a few cabanas on the highway to the airport. Stay at one of those.

Stay at the Hotel Joker in Boca Chica. It's not cheapest, but it's pretty cheap, US$25.00 for a room with an overhead fan (no A/C.)

It's right on the Las Americas highway and is a 8 minute drive to the airport. The manager will drive you himself for RD$500.

If you go to a Cabana after midnight you can stay until 9 AM for the four hour price. Should be about 400-500 RD.

Although, the cabanas in San Isidro and on the Malecon are good, the cabanas near the airport are dingy.

After 3 visits to 3 different cabanas in the area, I couldn't imagine returning for anything more than a 60-minute lay... over.

thanks, but

1. I need to stay in Santo Domingo, not in Boca Chica
2. I will have a car and I dont want to spend extra rd500 for taxi
3. There is some options at US$20 available in Santo Domingo, like hotel Metur. Why I must go to Boca Chica to pay more?

Pardon, I thought you were looking for a hotel nearest to the airport. If you need a hotel in Santo Domingo, you should look at the Danae and La Residence. Both are cheap and both are in Santo Domingo.

Good Luck!
